NEET 2019 Application From

NEET 2019 Application Form is available until November 30, 2018. Candidates thus have just 2 days left to complete the application process. The application form of NEET 2019 can be submitted online, from ntaneet.nic.in. However, the application fee can be paid until December 01, 2018. Only those candidates whose application form will be completed and submitted before the deadline will be eligible to download the NEET UG 2019 Admit Card to appear in the exam.

To fill the application form candidates have to visit the official website and register by providing Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc. On doing so candidates will be registered for NEET exam. Thereafter the candidates have to log in and complete the application form.

Since last 2 days are left to apply for NEET 2019, there is no scope for errors in the application form. However, candidates will be given one chance to correct any mistake in the application form from January 14 to 31, 2019. But it is advisable that the candidates complete their application form correctly in the first go itself. Because there is no surety that correction will be allowed in all the details. There can also be extra charges applicable to correct details in NEET Application Form 2019 again.

Common Mistakes to Avoid in NEET 2019 Application Form

In a hurry, candidates seem to commit some mistakes that must be avoided. We have listed some common mistakes that are committed in hurry, that one must avoid:

Selecting the state of eligibility: This is one of the most important part of the application form. This is important for 15% All India Quota. This detail cannot be edited once submitted. Thus, it is very important to select the state of eligibility correctly. The state of eligibility is the state from where the candidates have completed their class 12 exam.

Uploading the documents: The candidates have to keep in mind that the photograph and signature that are to be uploaded must be as per the specification, the forms can be rejected if the photo and signature are not as per specification. Candidates must upload a photo which is passport size, with a clear solid background and without any caps, goggles, scarf, etc. Similarly, the signature must be in running hands in clean white paper with a black or blue pen. The size of the photo and signature must be as per the guidelines that are – photo size must be 10 Kb to 200 Kb and in JPEG/JPG format. Also, the signature must be in JPEG/JPG format and in the size range of 4Kb to 30Kb.

There are scenarios, where the candidates make the payment and the fee is deducted from their account but the confirmation page is not generated. At such times the candidate must wait for a day. The delay is technical in such cases. The confirmation page is generated once the process is complete.

Submitting the application fee: The application fee must be paid within the allowed time period, as the application form will not be submitted unless the payment is made successfully. The application fee is Rs. 1400 for the general category students, while those for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is Rs. 750. The payment mode option available is offline and online. Offline is via E-challan during banking hours and Online is via net banking, debit/credit cards. The last date to complete the payment process if December 01, 2018.
