NTSE Admit Card 2019 Rajasthan

Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER or RBSE) is conducting the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) I 2019 in the state of Rajasthan. The exam will be held on November 3, 2019. Admit card for the same, are available for download at bserexam.net.

To download admit card, one has to go to the STSE 2019 page of BSER website, direct link for which happens to be bserexam.net/BsErSTSE2019/mainpage.php as shared by students. Whereas no separate notification has been released by the board regarding admit cards, there is a line about it in the document containing general important instructions for head of institutions.

As per it, head of the schools can download the NTSE stage I 2019-20 admit card from the same place where they filled the online application form using their ID and password provided by the board.

By extension it is expected that schools shall download the admit cards and issue them to the students. Thus students who have applied for NTSE 2019-2020 in Rajasthan may coordinate with their schools to get their exam call letters positively prior to the exam. It may also be noted that the applications for the exam were made available via rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in as per the initial NTSE 2019 notification.

On the upcoming Sunday, BSER will conduct two papers under NTSE. Paper 1 will be the mental ability test or MAT, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. Paper 2 will be scholastic aptitude test or SAT from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. Both papers will have 100 questions, to be attempted in 2 hours. Qualifying marks in level 1 exam is pre-determined as 40% for general, OBC, EWS, and 32% for SC, ST, PH.

Last year the result was declared on February 10. The result consists of total marks scored in MAT and SAT, marks scored in each section, roll number of the candidate and the category. The NTSE Stage 2 exam will be then held on May 10, 2020. Candidates who qualify the first stage will be eligible to appear for the stage 2 exam. The stage 2 exam is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The exam pattern for the stage 2 exam is the same as stage 1.

National Talent Search Examination is a national level scholarship program conducted for students studying in class 10th in any recognized school. Every year the exam is conducted in 2 stages. Stage 1 exam is conducted by the State/Union territory in which the candidate falls and the Stage 2 exam is conducted by NCERT on national level. The exam is conducted to identify talented students and award scholarships to them.

Presently 2000 scholarships are awarded in the country, with 7.5% reservation for ST, 15% for SC and 27% for OBC and 4% for PwD category students. 485 Students will get scholarships in Rajasthan.
