National Testing Agency (NTA) will release National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2019 Application Form today, on November 01. The form will be available at 11:30 am, on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. The timing for the release of NEET application form has been informed through the official advertisement, which NTA published in the morning newspapers.
The application form of NEET will be only be available until November 30, 2018. The last date to pay the application fee is December 01, 2018. The Agency has also revealed the timing of the examination. Aspirants will appear for NEET 2019 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, on May 05.
How to Fill NEET 2019 Application Form
The application form can only be filled online and no OMR form will be provided by the conducting body. In order to apply for NEET 2019, the candidates will first have to register by submitting the name, mother’s name, e-mail id, phone number, date of birth, and other such details. Then. the candidates will be able to access the login and fill details in the application form.
The details required to be filled in the application form will be personal, such as gender, category, etc. Education and contact details are also to be submitted in the form. The candidates should make sure that e-mail id, phone number, name, and other such basic details are filled correctly because the provision to change it might not be provided. While filling the application form candidates have to keep scanned copies of colored passport sized photo and signature ready. Photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb and the signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
NEET 2019 Application Fee Confirmed
NTA has been saying it from the beginning that fee for NEET will be the same as last year. It has been confirmed now. The application fee for the General and OBC category is Rs. 1400 and for SC / ST / PH, it is Rs. 750. The application fee payment can be done using Credit card, Debit card, Net Banking or e-Challan, and UPI.
Is Aadhaar Mandatory for NEET 2019?
SC has said that Aadhaar Card is not a mandatory document. Hence, even to register for NEET 2019, Aadhaar is not mandatory. Instead of the Aadhaar Card candidates can use Voters’ ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport number, Ration card number, Bank account number, or any other valid government identity number.
NTA to Start CSC for Helping Students in Filling Application Form
NTA may also open Common Services Center (CSC) to help candidates who face trouble in filling the online application form of NEET 2019. NTA has opened it for JEE Main 2019. Hence, it is expected that it will open NEET as well. As per this provision various Common Services Center (CSC) will been established. Candidates can visit these centers and get help regarding completing the NEET 2019 application form. There will be over 1.5 lakh CSC in India.
NEET 2019 Exam Pattern and SYllabus
On request of the Ministry Of Health and Welfare, it has been decided that the NEET 2019 exam pattern will remain the same as last year. Thus, NEET 2019 will be an offline exam, will be conducted once in 2019 and the languages in which it was being conducted will not change.
NEET 2019 will have 180 questions in total of 720 marks. 45 questions will be asked in Physics section that will carry 180 marks. Similarly in Chemistry there will be 45 questions of 180 marks. However in Biology there will be 90 questions in all that will be carrying 360 marks. +1 marks is awarded in every correct answer in NEET and -1 marks is deducted for every wrong answer marked.
The syllabus for the NEET 2019 exam has been prescribed by MCI.The syllabus is designed in a such way that it is uniform for all the test takers across the nation. The syllabus contains topics from class 11 and 12 and from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates who will be registering for NEET 2019 successfully will be getting their admit card in the online mode only from April 15, 2019. NEET 2019 exam will be held on May 05, 2019 in pen and paper mode only.
Last year, in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), 3,26,725 students had registered and 12,69,922 had appeared. Out of the appeared candidates, 7,14,562 candidates had qualified the exam.
