With the release of the DU UG information Brochure 2019, it has been confirmed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the DU entrance examination for UG courses. A separate schedule for the DU Entrance exam 2019 will be published for the students.
In the DU Admission Form 2019, the students need to select the mode of admission for UG course, i.e. Merit-based or entrance exam based. Under the menu for selection of courses for which admission is based on entrance tests, the aspirant can select none or any number of courses for admission based on their own eligibility. There will be separate entrance fees per test as well.
The additional registration fee for the Entrance-based course for UR/OBC category is Rs. 750 and SC/ST/PwD/EWS, the registration fee is Rs. 300. The registration fee is payable by online mode only using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
The students are offered admission to undergraduate courses on the basis of the entrance tests. The University offers admission in the following courses through entrance exam:

The admission in the above courses is offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test. The written test to be conducted by NTA is a 02-hours duration test which consists of 100 MCQ questions. DU entrance exam shall be held in online mode as the entrance exams covered under NTA are generally held in online mode.
In the DU UG entrance exam, there will be 100 MCQ type questions. For each correct answer, students will get a score of plus 4 marks, each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark and a question not answered will get a score of zero marks.
The online registration for PG, PG in Cyber Security and Law MPhil and PhD course is going to start from June 03, 2019 onwards.
