Recently, the National Testing Agency has finally confirmed that it will be accepting the photographs uploaded by the candidate, even without a candidate’s name and date mentioned on it. This confirmation has been provided over the official website of JEE Main 2019 i.e http://www.jeemain.nic.in over the main page itself. All the aspirants falling under this criteria has breathed a sigh of relief after receiving this confirmation from NTA.
Also, candidates must note that the NTA has activated the JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction window from October 8, 2018, onwards. This is one-time, final opportunity provided to all the applicants to make the full use of this window as, after this window closes NTA will not be entertaining any requests regarding the same.
To open this JEE Main 2019 correction window and make changes in the application form, a candidate will be required to login with their application form number and password. However, this facility will not be applicable to edit photograph and signature, uploaded by a candidate, along with the exam cities opted by a candidate. Whereas a candidate will be able to change their personal details, paper opted for, educational qualification and examination medium.
Candidates will be required to submit an additional fee to correct or edit their details via choosing any of the following payment gateway options over the JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction window.
After receiving the corrections from all the applicants on October 14, 2018, National Testing Agency will be releasing the Admit cards on December 17, 2018. All those who had submitted their JEE Main 2019 Applications well on time and also corrected some of their details( if it was required) as per their corresponding documents, will be able to retrieve their JEE Main 2019 Admit Cards from the application portal. All the changes made by using the Correction window will be treated as the final ones and will also be printed on the admit card.
Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main 2019 is conducted every year for providing admissions to various BE/B. Tech or B.Arch/B. Plan aspirants in various NITs, IIITs and CFTIs is based on the All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main or to appear for JEE Advanced 2019. Till the last year, CBSE used to conduct this national level entrance examination, but 2019 onwards, National Testing Agency is the conducting body of this entrance. Also, JEE Main 2019 will be conducted twice a year i.e once in the month of January and other in the month of April. For the January session, the application process has been closed after receiving over 9.65 lakhs of applications.
