National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET Application Form 2019 and Information Bulletin. The online form has been released on March 01, 2019 at ntanet.nic.in. The eligible and interested candidates can apply for UGC NET 2019 till March 30, 2019, by 11:30 p.m. Up to April 01, 2019 candidates can make application fee payment. The UGC NET June 2019 examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2019.
The General / Unreserved, OBC-NCL / EWS and SC / ST / PwD / Transgender category candidates have pay Rs 800/-, Rs 400/-, Rs 200/- as an application fee. Candidates can make the payment through SBI / HDFC / Syndicate / ICICI Payment Gateway by using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or E-Challan. Once the fee will be paid it will be not refunded.
Before filling the form candidates should first read the eligibility criteria. Candidates applying for JRF should not be more than 30 years (as on June 01, 2019) and there is no upper age limit for the candidates applying to the post of assistant professor. The candidates must have secure minimum 55% marks (50% marks for OBC-NCL / SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender category) in master’s degree or equivalent.
The candidates can only use online mode of doing the registration for UGC NET 2019. In the form, candidates must provide the valid details if the candidate’s application form will be carrying invalid details those form will be rejected by the NTA. The candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) will be first time given the reservation in higher education but for that in the online form candidates have to select EWS category and have to upload certificate regarding that. Application form filling process will complete in three parts i.e. Registration (Part I), application form filling (part II) and uploading of the scanned image (part III).
In the UGC NET June Application Form 2019 candidates have to fill the personal, contact, educational, qualification, exam center, and other details. In the form candidates also have to upload the scanned photograph and signature. Scanned photograph and signature image should be in JPG/JPEG format only. The candidates Scanned photograph and signature size should be 10 kb to 200 kb and 4 kb to 30 kb respectively. After uploading the images candidates have to make the fee payment. On successful fee payment, one confirmation page will display on the screen candidates should take print out of it for future reference. Application Form Correction process will start on April 07, 2019 and up to April 14, 2019 candidates can make the online correction in their form.
The candidates who will submit the application form on time for those UGC NET Admit Card 2019 will be issued on May 15, 2019. The admit card will be released at the official website. For all the candidates it is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card and one valid id proof (adhaar card, pan card, voter id card, passport etc). Applicants are not allowed to carry any paper, electronic gadgets, eatable material etc. in the examination hall. Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables materials namely sugar tablets, fruits, and transparent water bottle only in the examination hall.
The online examination will consist of two papers i.e. Paper I and II and in both the examination objective type questions will be asked. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
After the successful construction of the examination answer key will be released by the NTA. Till now no specified date has been given by the NTA that when the answer key will be released. The UGC NET Result 2019 will be declared on July 15, 2019.
