The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the GPAT Application Form 2019. So, the candidates who wish to apply for Gratitude Pharmacy Aptitude Test can now fill the application form. The registrations will be held from November 01 to November 30, 2018. For the registrations, candidates can log on to the official website nta.ac.in.
On the website, candidates can click on the “Registration” button. To do the registration for GPAT 2019, candidates can follow the three major steps. First, fill the basic information. After that, aspirants can get the 6 digit password via email and SMS as well. Second, fill the rest of the personal and the qualificational information. At last, candidates can make the fee payment. The application fee is Rs. 1400+ bank charges for General and OBC while for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female candidates, the application fee is Rs. 700+ bank charges. To pay the application fee, the candidates can use any of the online modes such as Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. Candidates must be a citizen of India. Aspirants must have the Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) while those candidates who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course can also apply. Students of B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and fine chemical technology) are not eligible for the exam. There is no age limit for this exam.
Admit Card
The GPAT Admit Card 2019 will be released on January 07, 2019. Candidates will get the admit card online on the official website nta.ac.in. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to enter the email id and the password. Along with the admit card, the aspirants will have to carry a recent passport size photo and one identity proof such as Driver’s license, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, UID card or a notarized Affidavit (in English) with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address. SC/ ST category candidates are required to carry the valid caste certificate in Original and an attested photocopy. Also, the physically disabled certificate must be brought by the Physically Disabled candidates.
Exam will be Held on January 28
The GPAT 2019 exam will be held on January 28, 2019. GPAT will be held in online mode. Since 2013, it has been conducted as the online Computer Based Test. There will be a total of 125 questions. All the questions will be of multiple choice. Students will be given 2 hours (180 minutes) to complete the exam. For each correct answer, the candidates will be provided +4 marks while for each incorrect answer, there will be the negative marking of 1 mark. The questions will be asked from Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and other related subjects of Pharmacy.
