National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CMAT 2019 Application Form on November 01, 2018. The registration has been started at the official website of NTA CMAT at ntacmat.nic.in. Candidates planning to take the exam must register until November 30, 2018. The national level online entrance test will conduct in one day window on January 28, 2018. According to the information brochure the exam will take place in two sessions, first at 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and second at 02:30 p.m. to 05:30 p.m.
The registration for CMAT 2019 consists of four steps which include filling the registration, entering details in the application form, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. Candidates can pay the exam fee via the offline or online form. For General/ OBC category students, the application fee is Rs 1400/-, whereas for SC/ST/PWD/Female the fee is Rs 700/-.
Before applying for CMAT 2019, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria defined by NTA. According to the official website, only Indian nationals can apply for the exam. In addition to that, an applicant must possess a graduation degree (10+2+3) in any discipline. Candidates in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Such students must submit their final mark sheet before the starting of the new session.
In the CMAT 2019 Application Form, candidates need to upload photograph and signature in the specified format only. For the photograph, keep the dimension as 3.5 x 4.5 cm and file size between 10-100 Kb. Similarly, for the signature, keep the dimension as 3.5 x 1.5 cm and file size should not be less than 30 Kb. Importantly, upload the documents in JPG/ JPEG format only. Later, Candidates can access any service related to using the CMAT Login by entering registration number and password.
CMAT 2019 exam pattern is same as the previous year. It is an online examination of three-hour duration. There are total 100 questions in the exam carrying four marks each. In the paper, there is also negative marking of -1 marks for each incorrect answers. Candidates need to prepare four sections in the paper naming Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, and Language Comprehension.
For the preparation of the exam, students can refer to the previous year question papers to get a better idea of the exam. Taking good quality mock tests will also help to prepare according to the exam pattern of CMAT. Getting good marks in the exam will help the test takers to take admission in the top Institutions/ University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges approved by AICTE.
