National resting Agency (NTA) has opened the candidates’ login once again for all the registered candidates who have appeared in the exam to correct their category. Under the candidates’ login the candidates can select their preferred category only, that they want to reflect in all their upcoming admission process. The correction facility will remain open until Aril 17, 2019 till 5:00 PM.
To make correction in the category the candidates have to log in using their application number and password. In doing so on their dashboard the link to make correction their category can be seen. the candidates need to click on the link and select the correct category from the dropdown list and submit the same. The dropdown list will have the options of categories that include General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and EWS.
The notice that NTA has released regarding this has also notified that this is the one last chance given to the candidates to make correction in the category section of the application form. Further, no other chance will be provided. No fee or extra charges are charged for category changes. Earlier the category change facility was made available during the application form correction period that was open from March 11 – 15, 2019.
The result of JEE Main 2019 is scheduled to be released by April 30, 2019, for paper 1 and for paper 2 the result will be out by May 15, 2019. This time NTA is also going to release the All India Rank (AIR) based on best percentile score of the candidates out of both the attempts. However, the candidates who have appeared for anyone attempt, the score of that attempt will be used to give them a place in the AIR.
The result of the candidates will not have the raw scores but the percentile scores. The candidates will be able to check their section wise percentile score and the total percentile scores. Along with the result the cutoff score for appearing in JEE Advanced 2019 will be also made available.
9,58,619 candidates had registered for the JEE Main 2019 exam held in online mode on April 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12, 2019. The answer key, response sheet, and question paper for the exam were declared on April 14, 2019. The facility to challenge the answer key is also open until April 16, 2019, 5:00 PM.
If the challenges are accepted, then the candidates will be refunded the challenge amount in the candidate’s respective bank accounts.
