Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is conducting the National Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2020. The exam will be held from November 4, 2020, to January 30, 2021. Registration for NMAT is open at nmat.org, until November 20, 2020. However, late registration window shall also open from November 21, 2020 and will go on untill November 30, 2020.
To register for NMAT 2020, candidates have to register with basic details, verify the details, fill the application form, and pay the application fee. After the payment of the application fee for NMAT by GMACTM exam candidates can scheduling the exam date and location.
Once the registration for NMAT 2020 is done, candidates can schedule examination. It can also be done online, until December 02, 2020.
After booking the exam, candidates cannot reschedule for a different mode of exam in the same attempt. However, they can choose the exam mode again, while re-scheduling the next attempt. The retake registration and re-scheduling will be available until January 17, 2021, starting from November 5, 2020.
This year NMAT 2020 is being held in online mode at the test centres and also as Online Proctored exam at that the candidates can take from their respective homes with the help of their own system & internet connection.
The candidates have to choose to appear for the exam using any one these modes. The choice must be given in the online application form.
The NMAT 2020 entrance exam is divided into three sections – language skills, quantitative skills, and logical reasoning. Unlike last year, the three sections shall be given equal weightage in the 2020 examination. there will be a total of 108 questions that have to be complete in 120 minutes. The three sections of the NMAT by GMACTM are individually timed. Test takers have to answer questions of each section within the allotted time. The time limits are 25 mins, 52 mins, and 40 mins for Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning sections respectively.
Furthermore, the authorities have also introduced the facility of instant score preview to know the scores immediately after submitting the exam. The scorecard for the same shall be made available for students and schools within 48 hours of submitting the paper. By providing this facility, candidates shall instantly come to know whether a second attempt is required or not.
Through this NMAT 2020, candidates can apply to 52 business schools this year in various countries. Like in India SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Indian School of Business (ISB), SPJIMR, Xavier University, ICFAI Business School, etc will accept NMAT scores.
Institutes in other countries like in South Africa, Philippines, and Nigeria will also intake admission based on NMAT 2020 scores.
