Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has announced the NMAT 2019 Exam dates. The complete schedule for the academic session 2020-21 is available on nmat.org. The registration for the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) will begin from July 02, 2019. The computer-based exam will conduct in 75 days window from 04 October to 17 December.
As the NMAT 2019 Exam Date has been declared, the complete information regarding the exam will be available soon. The last date to fill the NMAT application form is 03 October. Candidates will able to apply for NMAT online in the 95-day registration window. Moreover, 10 days window shall also open for late application.
NMAT 2019 is an online exam that takes place for admission to the management program. The exam gives a candidate the option to choose the exam date, city, centre and time. Moreover, aspirants also get a facility to retake the exam if they want to improve their scores. In the 75 days window, students can appear for the maximum three times.
NMAT is also one of the examinations that does not have negative marking. The flexibility of choosing the exam dates helps to focus on other exams as well. So, along with CAT 2019, IIFT 2020, XAT 2020 apply for NMAT 2019 to increase the chances of getting selected for the top b-schools like NMIMS, VIT, XIMB, etc.

NMAT 2019 consist of 120 questions divided into three sections. Each question carries 3 marks and has five options each. Candidates have to attempt as many questions as possible in the time span of 120 minutes. The three-section naming language skills, quantitative skills, and logical reasoning consist of 32, 48, and 40 questions.
The syllabus for the exam is similar to other exams like CAT 2019 etc. However, the questions in the exam are comparatively easier than other national level exams. Still, the competition and strict time limit makes the exam difficult. The cut off for NMIMS Mumbai goes up to 99+ percentile. On average, a student needs more than 220 marks to expect a call from NMIMS.
The process for admission via NMAT includes filling the NMAT form, college forms, group discussion, personal interview, etc. GMAC only sends the score to the institutes selected by the student in the registration form. It is the responsibility of the candidates to apply for NMAT accepting institutes to register the application for the admission process.
