The NIRF Ranking 2021 for the Architecture has been released by the HRD minister at 12.00 noon. This year the results are surprising with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee ranking at number with a score of 82.65. NIT, Calicut and IIT Kharagpur clinched the second and third spots with an overall score of 76.50 and 76.14 respectively. The authorities compiled this list on five parameters as notified earlier. The colleges that have managed to find a place within the Top 10 institutes best for Architecture can be found below:

Comparing this year list with the last year one, we can see that IIT, Roorkee ranked at the second position last year has clinched the first spot with an overall score of 82.65. Last year winner IIT, Kharagpur slipped down to the third position with a score of 76.14. NIT, Calicut has made a surprise entry on the number second spot this time. School of Planning and Architecture has managed to clinch rank 4th this time that is one level up from last year ranking. CEPTU, Ahmedabad has also seen a drop in its ranking from 4th to 5th rank this time. School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and NIT, Tiruchirappalli have recorded a rise in their respective ranks by 1 spot.
IIEST, Shibpur has recorded a high drop from its last year’s position i.e. 6th to 9th rank this time. The 10th position remains unchanged with Jamia Milia Islamia with an overall rank of 57.23.
