National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the datesheet for conduct of NIOS D.El.Ed. 3rd exam has been released. Paper code 506, Understanding Children in inclusive context, will be held on 20 Dec 2018 from 2 PM to 5 PM. Paper code 507, Community and Elementary Education, will be held on 21 Dec 2018 from 2 PM to 5 PM. One week prior to exam, NIOS will release admit card for D.El.Ed 3rd exam.
Simultaneously, the institute extends last date to pay D.El.Ed 2nd year exam fees to 30 Oct 2018. The fee payment process had started on 01 Oct 2018 and was supposed to end on 25 Oct 2018. However, upon receiving several requests from Untrained In-Service Teachers who have paid NIOS D.El.Ed., 2nd year admission fees, the last date was extended.
The Institute confirms that this shall be the last extension in fee payment date and anyone who has not paid the exam fee for 2nd year will not be allowed to appear in exam codes 506, 507, 508, 509, 510.
Notification no. F-82-6 / 2018 / NIOS / CBC / D.El.Ed. / 5086 says
“In continuation of the Notification 26/2018 this is to notify that all the Untrained ln-Service Teachers who have paid the 2nd year admission fees D.El.Ed Programme are required to pay Examination fees for the IInd year. The submission of the fees for IInd Year Examination commenced from 1st October, 2018 and continued till 25th October, 2018.
The requests have been received from most of the teachers for extending the dates for submission of the IInd Year Examination Fees for NIOS DELEd programme. Keeping in view the interest of the teachers, the last date has been extended till 30th October, 2018 (Tuesday). This would be the last and final chance for submission of the 11nd year Examination Fees. No further extension of the dates will be granted beyond 30th October, 2018. Such of the teachers who fail to pay the examination fee for the IInd year will not be allowed to appear in the Examination for the course 506-510.
All the Regional Directors of NIOS are hereby directed to ensure the compliance and directed to intimate the concerned Study Centres/ State Coordinators/ Nodal Officers for onward transmission of the information to all such teachers who have not submitted the Second Year Examination Fees and directed to submit the same by login to NIOS-DELEd website http://www.dled.nios.ac.in.”
Government of India has handed over the responsibility of training un-trained in-service elementary teachers. NIOS D.El.Ed program was launched in October 2017 and such teachers have to complete their programme by March 2019 as per amendment in RTE Act 2009. 15 lakh teachers are enrolled in the program.
The first year fee was Rs 4500 and second year fee was Rs 6000. There are no additional charges for Personal Contact Programme (PCP), Workshop, Assignment, Study Materials. Agents or any person at study centre is not authorized to charge candidates separately for any of these things. Candidates must only pay fee through official website nios.ac.in and deled.nios.ac.in.
