NIOS 10th Result October 2018

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is expected to announce NIOS 10th Result 2018 by December 15, 2018. The result will be declared for the October examination. The students are waiting for Class 10 and Class 12 results. NIOS Result 2018 will be released online, at It will be declared for the Indian as well as for the Overseas students.

Yesterday, NIOS announced NIOS D.El.Ed Result 2018 for the second semester. Hence, it is expected that NIOS would declare the result for class 10 within this week. Students may get the result before Sunday. But according to some reports, some officials are saying that NIOS Result 2018 for class 10 will be released on December 15, 2018. Thus, it is obvious that the result will be announced by December 15, 2018, either in this week or in the next week.

Candidates will be able to see the result online on the official website i.e. on It will be available under the tab ‘Results’. Click on the relevant link and a new page will appear. Submit the correct roll number and the result will appear to the candidate. The NIOS Result 2018 will be available in the pdf format. Check the result and then take the printout of it for the future use.

The exams for Class 10 was held from October 08 to November 05, 2018 for the Indian centres. For the Overseas centres, the NIOS board had conducted the exams from October 09 to November 06, 2018.

Along with class 10, the NIOS will also announce the result for Class 12. The exams for class 12 were conducted from October 06 to November 05, 2018 for the Indian students. For the Overseas candidates, the exams were held from October 06 to November 06, 2018.

The candidates who will qualify the exams will be able to collect the Mark Sheet or the Provisional Certificate or the Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate from the Accredited Institute (AIs) of NIOS.

In the previous year, the NIOS board had given the chance to appear for the exams to 3,50,000 students. For those students, the overall pass percentage was 59.21%. Last year, the performance of girls was better than the boys. There was a bit difference between their pass percentage. The pass percentage of the girls was 60.91% while the boys had got 58.44%.

The organization which provides the open schooling to the students of the various state students is NIOS. It is well known as the National Institute of Open Schooling. NIOS came into existence in 1989. The Ministry of Human Resources Development established NIOS. It offers the education at the national level.
