New Railway Recruitment RRC CR 01/2019 Notification Out; Registration Starts Tomorrow!

Another new notification for railway recruitment 2019 is here. This one is for recruitment to level 1 and level 2 posts through Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Central Railways (CR). The notification has been published in the latest employment news and registration against it will start tomorrow.

Railway Recruitment RRC CR 01/2019

Railway Recruitment Cell Central Railways, Ministry of Railways, Government of India has published employment notice no. RRC/CR/01/2019. It is for recruitment against open advertisement scouts and guides quota in central railway for the year 2019-20.

Registration will be available at rrccr.com from tomorrow November 5, 2019 to November 19, 2019. On the last date, application form will close at 5 pm.

The application fee is Rs 500. However it is Rs 250 for SC, ST, ex-servicemen, pwd, women, minorities, and economically backward class. As aadhaar card data will be necessary for this application form, applicants may keep the same handy. Same goes for scanned coloured photograph, and signature. The former to be between 20 kb and 70kb, and the latter between 20 kb and 30 kb.

For both the levels, railways will conduct written test. Then a number of candidates equal to 2.5 times the number of vacancies will be called for further rounds. Written test will be of 60 marks. It will consist of 40 multiple choice questions of 40 marks, 1 essay type question of 20 marks which will be on scouts and guides organization and its activities and general knowledge. In the test, there will be negative marking of 1/3 mark in the objective questions.

Besides, railways will assign 40 marks for certificates. 10 marks for participation or service in national events or national jamboree, 10 marks for participation or service in state events or rallies, 10 for specialized scouts or guides course in national or state or railways level, and 10 for participation in district rallies.

RRC CR has identified 2 vacancies in level 2, and 10 vacancies in level 1. The level 1 posts are divided equally among Mumbai, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Pune, Solapur divisions. All the identified vacancies are for scouts and guides quota for year 2019-2020 in the Central Railway.

Interested railway job aspirants can apply for both – level 1 as well as level 2. However first of all, they should be eligible for both. And secondly, such candidates have to fill two forms with relevant fee.

Talking about the eligibility, candidates should be either 12th pass with 50% marks (not needed for SC / ST / ex-S), or 10th pass with course completed act apprenticeship, or 10th with ITI for the level 2 posts. Whereas for level 1 post, one should be either 10th pass or ITI or NAC or 10th pass plus NAC or 10th pass with ITI.

For level 2 posts, railways needs that candidate should be between 18 to 30 years old, and should be between 18 to 33 years of age for level 1.

Central Railways is one of the zones of Indian Railways and it has five divisions namely Mumbai, Bhusaval, Pune, Solapur, Nagpur. Established in 1951, history claims that CR Indian Railways was the first to operate a passenger railway line.
