The National Board of Education (NBE) has commenced the NEET SS 2021 application form correction today, dated December 01, 2021. Candidates can edit the details on their NEET SS (Super Speciality) courses till December 07, 2021. The editing facility is speculated to be available from 3 pm onwards on the official website, nbe.edu.in. The reason being in past all major events related to NEET SS have commenced during this timeline.
The information brochure released earlier also mentioned the final edit window for NEET SS 2021 from December 20 to 23, 2021. NEET Super Speciality 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on January 10, 2022. Candidates can download their NEET SS 2021 admit card from January 03, 2022, onwards.
The information brochure released by the board earlier has clearly mentioned that only some details like the candidate’s date of birth, gender, parent’s name, address, minority category(if applicable), educational qualification, scanned images can be edited in the NEET SS 2021 application. While details like test city, candidate’s name, email id and nationality are now allowed for corrections.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on NEET SS 2021, and on the next page hit the applicant’s login button
Step 3: Enter login credentials user id, password followed by captcha code and press the login button
Step 4: Edit the details that are allowed in the NEET SS application form 2021 and then proceed to the next page
Step 5: Finally, cross-check the details entered and finally submit the NEET SS application form 2021
The board has asked the candidates to strictly adhere to the provided guidelines regarding the editing of the NEET SS 2021 application form. Failing to abide by any of the guidelines and submitting an incomplete application form or with discrepancies can lead to the rejection of their NEET application form.
The notice regarding the edit window also mentions that candidates who had made the payment for the NEET SS 2021 during the application submission window but were not able to update their choices for eligible super-specialty courses in the month of November 2021, can avail the edit window facility to submit the choices of super-specialty programmes. It further provides a grievance redressal mechanism wherein candidates who are facing any difficulty during the registration process can contact NBEMS at 011-45593000 or write to NBEMS by visiting the link, exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main.
NEET Super Speciality (SS) 2021 is held annually to provide admission to successful candidates in DM/MCh and DNB courses in the participating colleges. The examination is held in the online mode for 150 questions based on the speciality opted by the candidates. Candidates get a duration of 2.5 hours to complete the online test.
Earlier, this year the Supreme Court of India had ruled out the possibility of conducting the examination in the revised exam pattern as requested by the government. The Court has ordered to hold the exam in the old exam pattern and consider the revised exam pattern for the next session i.e. 2022 onwards.
