The National Board of Education (NBE) has announced the exam date for NEET PG 2021. The exam will be held on April 18, 2021. However, the application form release date has yet not be declared. It is expected that the application form can be out soon. Going by the reports the National Board of Education is expected to start the registration from the second or third week of February 2021 at nbe.edu.in.
The official notice available till date for NEET PG 2021 is the notice that was issued on January 14, 2021. As per it, the postgraduate examination for admission to MD / MS courses will be held on April 18, 2021, and the application form, information brochure, etc. will be available on the official websites nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in.
Usually, the candidates are given about 2 months to fill the application forms. Therefore it can be possible that for the exam to be held on April 18, 2021, the application form can release on or after the second week of February 2021.
To apply candidates have to register, fill the application form, upload the images and select the exam centre and pay the application fee.
NEET PG 2021 will be a computer-based test and those candidates completing their internships by 30th June 2021 can appear in the exam. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG medical (NEET PG) 2021 as the single window medical entrance exam for MD, MS, PG Diploma admissions.
To apply for NEET PG 2021, candidates must have MBBS degree / Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a Medical Colleges / Institute recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act. Also, they must have a permanent or provisional registration of MBBS or equivalent qualification with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Lastly, the internships of the candidates must be complete in every respect by June 30, 2021.
Even foreign nationals seeking admission to medical courses in Indian medical institutes must clear the NEET PG exam.
The NEET PG CBT exams have 300 MCQs, which the students have to attempt in 3 hours 30 minutes. Incorrect answers in the NEET PG exam incur 25% negative marks although no marks are deducted for unattended questions. Correct answers are awarded 04 marks.
