NEET PG 2020

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced that the NEET PG 2020 edit window will open on December 3, 2019, and close on December 7, 2019. In this duration, candidates who have applied for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – PG 2020 can make changes to the details they have filled during registration.

Applications were accepted from November 1 to 21, 2019. During the edit window, fresh applications will not be accepted.

NBE will allow applicants to make changes to selective fields only.

5 things that cannot be changed in the NEET PG 2020 application form are name of candidate, mobile number, email ID, testing city, nationality.

On the other hand the 5 things for which NBE has received several requests from candidates to let them change, which the board is allowing to be changed are date of birth, gender, category of candidates, physical disability status, EWS status.

It may also be noted that in the information bulletin, NBE has listed 8 such details that cannot be edited during correction, namely name, mobile number, email address, testing city, gender, date of birth, nationality, category. However on the request of candidates, the board is now allowing changes to 3 of them that are gender, date of birth, category.

All details, besides the non-editable 5 points, can be changed in the five days window to make corrections at nbe.edu.in.

In the notification released with regards to application form correction, NBE also says “photographs, signatures and thumb impression should only be uploaded as per prescribed image upload guidelines”. It is also made clear to NEET PG applicants that their forms may be rejected if they are incomplete, or have incorrect information, or have incorrect images. Images should not be illegible or unclear or incorrect.

The board does not edit or modify or alter any information entered by candidates at the time form submission. Thus the details that are shown upon login are the ones entered by applicant only.

Candidates need to follow the communication protocol laid down regarding the exam. As per which, they can submit query, clarification, assistance related to NEET PG 2020 admission session through email at [email protected], or NBE candidate care helpdesk that has been mentioned in the admission information bulletin. While sending email, it is necessary to mention name of sender, application ID, correspondence address, mobile number.

To avail the edit window, candidates will need to go to the official website of NEET PG 2020. Which can either be accessed through nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in. Or visit the direct link cdn3.digialm.com//EForms/configuredHtml/1815/63104//Index.html.
