NEET PG 2020

National Board of Examinations (NBE) is allowing applicants of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (PG) 2020 to make changes to the details they have entered and documents they have uploaded in the application form.

Termed as the NEET PG 2020 edit window, the duration from December 3, 2019 that is today to until December 7, 2019 is that period in which those who had applied for the exam can login to correct mistakes in the form. After that, NBE will release admit card for the exam on December 28, 2019. The exam is scheduled for January 5, 2020.

All details, barring 5, can be edited. The 5 things that cannot be altered now or anytime in this session are the name of the candidate, mobile number, email ID, testing city, and nationality.

Today is the first date of this edit window. It may be noted that NBE will not launch any separate link for the activity, candidates will have to login at the candidate login page and check for form correction facility.

In order to do so, one can either directly go to cdn3.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1815/63104/login.html which is the direct link for NBE NEET PG 2020 candidate login. Or, go to nbe.edu.in, then click NEET PG, and then click candidate login. Once on the candidate login page, candidates need to enter their user ID and password. After logging in, details that need to be edited, can be edited.

NBE has instructed that photograph, signature, and thumb impressions should be as per the guidelines laid down by the board. For the same, information brochure, user manual for NEET PG 2020, and image upload instructions can be referred. As per the last document, photographs captured through digital camera or webcam, as well as scanned physical photograph are acceptable.

Candidates who capture photo through digital camera or webcam must set resolution of the digital camera to highest value, camera should be held vertically, light conditions must be appropriate so that face is clear against white background, picture should be cropped like a passport photo; size of photograph should be less than 80 kb.

For scanning photograph, candidates should scan passport size photograph without border, clearly showing face. It should be recently clicked, not more than 6 months old, and its dimension should be 3.5 cms by 4.5 cms. To ensure this dimension, candidates should draw such a box on white paper, paste the photograph on it, and then scan it. Scanned image should be less than 80 kb.

To upload signature, draw a box 6 cm by 3 cm and sign within it, using a black or blue ink pen, preferably fountain. Scanned image should be within 80 kb in size. Required size of thumb impression is also the same, and it too should be in a white background.
