National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 Result on June 05, 2019. The result will be announced online, on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. All the candidates who appeared for NEET 2019, on May 5 and 20, 2019, will be able to check their score and 5% All India Quota merit.
The result of NEET is prepared on the basis of the answer key. NTA released NEET answer key two days back, on May 29, 2019. Today, May 31, is the last date to submit the challenged in the answer key. The facility to submit objections will end at 11:50 pm.
NTA will then consider all the challenges and will make the needed changes in the answer key. The candidate’s who objection stands valid are refunded challenge fee of Rs. 1000. The updated answer key of NEET 2019 will then be used for calculating the score in the exam.
The result of NEET is only announced online and candidates do not get a copy of it at the registered address. To check the result of NEET 2019, the candidates need to visit the official website and click on NEET 2019 Result link. Following this, the result portal opens and to access it, application number and date of birth is needed.
In the result of NEET 2019, candidates get to know the makes obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with total marks, percentile score, All India Quota rank, and cut off percentile. The cut off percentile of NEET for UR candidates is 50th percentile, for SC and ST candidates it is 40th percentile, and for OBC candidates it is 45th percentile.
Candidates who are included in the merit list are then eligible to participate in NEET 2019 Counselling. NTA prepared two merit list, one is 15% All India Quota and other is state merit. The counselling to fill 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by MCC, whereas, the state Admitting Authorities holds counselling to fill MBBS seats in the state.
The NEET 2019 Counselling Process consists of – Registration, Payment of counselling fee, and choice locking. Candidates are allotted seats on the basis of their merit in the test, preference of college & course, and availability of seats.
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level entrance exam. It is now being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This national level exam was rescheduled for the Odisha state candidates due to the cyclone Fani. The score for NEET is used for admission in MBBS/ BDS in all medical colleges/ institutions in India except for JIPMER and AIIMS.
