The National Testing Agency has uploaded the NEET 2019 Final Answer Key. The final answer key has the frozen answers to the questions asked in the exam. This indicates the result of NEET 2019 will be based on the answers in this answer key.
The NEET 2019 Result will be out today, on June 05, 2019. Before that NTA has uploaded the final answer key for NEET 2019 in the PDF format at ntaneet.nic.in. Note that the final answer key is not available for any further challenge and the result is based on the same.
To calculate the score using the NEET 2019 Final Answer key the candidates have to sue the marking scheme of the exam. To do so, the answers provided in NEET 2019 Solution Key with what has been marked in the exam is to be matched. After that the number of wrong and right answers is determined.
The marking scheme that has to be followed to calculate the score is (+) 4 marks for each correct answer. (-) 1 mark for an incorrect answer. Also, (-) 1 mark for each question for which more than 1 answer option is circled. However, there is no addition or deduction of marks for unattempted questions.
Marks calculated using the final answer key of NEET 2019, is what the candidates are supposed to get in their final NEET 2019 Result that will be out at ntaneet.nic.in under the candidate’s login on June 05, 2019. To check the result the candidates must have their application number and date of birth/password ready. The candidates can also check their AIR for 15% quota counselling. The candidates who score the cutoff marks are included in the AIR.

To be eligible for the NEET 2019 AIR, the candidates have to score 50th percentile (UR category), 45th (SC category), 40th percentile (ST category) and 45th percentile (PwD candidates). The AIR will be used for 15% all India quota for NEET 2019 counselling and the rest is used by states for their counselling and admissions.
Last year, the NEET Cutoff marks were 691 – 119 (50th percentile) for the UR category and 6,34,897 candidates had qualified. This year, over 15 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET examination that was conducted on May 5, 2019, in 156 cities across the country. NEET UG is a national level entrance exam for admission in MBBS/ BDS courses in all the colleges, other than AIIMS and JIPMER.
