Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to conduct the National Defence Academy (NDA) II 2021 examination tomorrow, November 14, 2021. Registered candidates still have a day to download their admit cards from the official website upsc.gov.in. NDA II 2021 examination is going to be conducted through the pen-and-paper mode at specific centres across the country.
With just a day left for the competitive exam, candidates need to pay attention to three things – last-minute preparation, exam-related instructions and test timings. Read ahead to know more about exam-day instructions as well as timings.
Candidates need to carry their UPSC NDA II 2021 admit cards along with recent, passport-size photographs and valid photo ID to the exam centre. Additionally, they are also allowed to carry a clipboard or hardboard and a good quality black ballpoint pen. Answer sheets and sheets for rough work will be provided by the invigilator at every exam centre.
As per official information, candidates will not be permitted to bring any prohibited items to the UPSC NDA II 2021 exam centre. These items include study material, books, different types of calculators, any mathematical and drawing instruments, log tables, rough sheets, test booklets, etc to the centre.
Items such as mobile phones, bluetooth devices, and any other communication devices are also not permitted for the centre. Disciplinary action may be taken if a candidate is found in possession of such items inside the exam hall.
In case, candidates bring such items to the exam centre, no storage facility for such items will be provided. Hence, students are advised to avoid these items as their safekeeping cannot be guaranteed. This is particularly applicable for expensive smartphones, smartwatches or costly communication devices. The commission has clearly stated that they will not be held responsible in case a candidate loses his/her belongings.
In addition to important instructions about the exam centre, candidates must also take note of their UPSC NDA II 2021 test timings. The exam is going to be held in two shifts – Shift 1 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and Shift 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the test. Hence, for shift 1, the reporting time is 9:30 am and for shift 2, the reporting time is 1:30 pm. All candidates are advised to adhere to these timings to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
