National Testing Agency (NTA) is closing the NCHMCT JEE 2019 Registration window today on March 25, 2019. Candidates interested in Hospitality & Hotel Administration must apply for the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Test (NCHMCT JEE) before the last date. The application form is available at ntanchm.nic.in. The deadline to pay exam fee is March 26, 2019 (11:50 PM).
Also, the last date to upload the photograph and signature in the NCHMCT JEE 2019 form is 26 March. Previously, NTA extended the last date by 10 days to give sufficient time to the aspirants for registration. Apart from that rest of the exam schedule has remained unchanged. The computer-based test will be held on 27 April between 09.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
After checking the eligibility, students can apply for the examination from the official website of NTA. In the first step, complete the registration process via entering a valid email and phone number. Candidates who are already registered can directly use the login credentials to access the application form.
In the NCHMCT JEE 2019 Application Form, candidates have to fill qualification and test centre details. Some of the personal and contacts details will be automatically populated, the rest needs to be entered to submit the form. In the next step, upload the photograph and signature in the specified format. The size of them must be between 10 KB to 200 KB and 4 KB to 30KB respectively.
In the last step, pay the application fee via online mode. The exam fee varies according to the category. For General and OBC students, the application fee is Rs 800/-. Whereas for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender, the fee is Rs 400/-. It is advisable that candidates take the print out of the application form for future use.
Following the completion of the application process, the NCHM JEE 2019 Admit Card will issue on 03 April. Candidates who have successfully submitted it will able to download it at nta.ac.in using application number and password. The test will be held in 49 test city all over India. As per the NTA notification, top rank holders from recognized boards will able to take the direct admission.
In the examination, students will find 200 multiple choice questions. Each question will carry a weight-age of 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. Also, in the paper, there will be 30 questions each from numerical ability & analytical aptitude, reasoning & logical deduction, and general knowledge & current affairs. Also, 50 and 60 questions from English language and aptitude for service sector respectively.
In order to prepare for the exam, candidates must clear all the concepts. Further, practice sectional and full-length mock test. Also, solving the previous year questions is also helpful. The result of NCHMCT JEE 2019 will be announced on 15 May. Before that official answer key and recorded response sheet will also issue.
