National Testing Agency has extended the registration last date for National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Test (NCHM JEE) 2019. The application form for NCHMCT JEE will be available for ten more days until March 25, 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can register for the computer-based examination at ntanchm.nic.in.
As per the previous schedule, the NCHM JEE 2019 Registration was supposed to close on March 15, 2019. But in the latest notice, NTA has extended the timeline on the high demand of the students. The application window will be closed exactly on 25 March. However, candidates can pay the examination fee until 26 March upto bank hours.
Candidates who are aspiring for the admission to B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) must complete all the steps of registration to confirm their application. Before applying for the exam, it is necessary that students comply with the eligibility criteria. So, applicants must have passed 10+2 with English as the main subject. Moreover, the upper age limit of General/ OBC and SC/ST category students is 25 years and 28 years respectively as of July 01, 2019.
In order to apply for the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) JEE 2019, students must register for it with the valid details. In this step, candidates have to fill personal and contact details. Once it is done, either continue to fill the application form or access it later using the login credentials.
In the NCHMCT Application form, enter test preference, qualification details, and security pin. Following that, upload photograph and signature as per the guidelines by NTA. In the final step, submit the application fee. For the General/OBC and SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender, the examination fee is Rs 800/- and Rs 400/- respectively.
Along with admission via entrance examination, NTA will also offer admission to Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) affiliated to NCHM & CT via direct mode. So, each IHM will offer direct admission to the three top rank holders each from Arts, Commerce and Science stream.
Candidates who have applied for CBT must prepare for the 27 April examination via sample paper, mock test etc. The test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions that need to be completed in the time limit of 180 minutes. There will be 30 questions each from numerical ability & analytical aptitude, reasoning & logical deduction, and General Knowledge & Current Affairs. Also, 50 and 60 questions from English language and aptitude for the service sector.
For Each Incorrect Answer, there is Negative Marking 1 Mark.
The admit card for the examination will be issued from 03 April onwards. On the exam day, candidates will have to carry a copy of hall ticket, passport size photograph, identity proof and PwD certificate (if applicable). After the examination, NTA will also release the recorded sheet of the candidates and the official answer key of NCHMCT 2019.
