National Board of Examinations (NBE) has started the registrations for NEET MDS 2020, DNB PDCET 2020, and FMGE Dec 2019 today, at nbe.edu.in. While the start date of application form submission for all three are common, so is the last date to apply for each. The deadline to fill and submit application form is October 31, 2019.
The first step towards applying for any of the said exams is to go to nbe.edu.in. Here, one will observe two sections. A blue strip contains links of the information bulletins of the exams. Below that, are buttons, one each for each of the exams that NBE conducts. These buttons lead to the official web page for these exams.
Clicking on the information bulletin link of DNB PDCET or NEET MDS or FMGE Dec 2019 will open the respective exam’s brochure. Whereas clicking the exam buttons will open the page where all information related to the exam is available, including the link for new registration.

The application fee for NEET MDS is Rs 3,750 for general and OBC candidates. It Rs 2,750 for SC, ST, PWD candidates. DNB PDCET fee is Rs 4,500 for all. FMGE application fee is Rs 5,500 for all.
Admit card for all the three exams will be released on December 13, 2019. And the examinations are scheduled to be held on December 20, 2019. Whereas result of NEET MDS and FMGE will be announced by January 20, 2020, the result of DNB PDCET 2020 will be announced a little earlier, by January 15, 2020.
All the three exams are computer based tests. Whereas NEET MDS and DNB PDCET are conducted annually, FMGE is held twice a year; in June and December. Another difference is that in NEET MDS and DNB PDCET, candidates get +4 for correct answer and -1 negative marking exists. However there is no negative marking in FMGE.
NEET MDS stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS. As the name suggests, it is the eligibility as well as entrance exam for admission to the MDS program. The exam will have 240 multiple choice questions with single correct response. It will be of 3 hours duration.
DNB PDCET is for the Diplomat National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test. This is the eligibility cum ranking test for admission to post diploma (secondary) DNB courses. In the exam there will be 200 multiple choice questions to be attempted in 2.5 hours.
And FMGE is the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. Such Indian citizens or OCIs who have a primary medical qualification by a medical institute outside India and want to get registration with MCI or any SMCI have to clear this exam. The screening test will have 300 multiple choice questions to be attempted in such a way that 2.5 hours will be given for each part, that is 5 hours in total.
