NATA 2021 3rd Attempt on September 3; Maximum Attempts Limited To 2

Candidates who have only given one test out of the previous two tests of NATA 2021 can apply for NATA 2021 third test.

The Council of Architecture has released an official press notice on its official website i.e. nata.in regarding the third test of NATA 2021. As per the notice, the third test of NATA 2021 will be held on September 03, 2021. Also, this year the number of attempts is two. Along with the date of NATA 2021 third test, Council of Architecture has also released a revised brochure of version 1.3 for NATA 2021 on it’s official website.

Due to covid-19 pandemic and several containment zones across India, Council of Architecture has decided to conduct the third test for NATA 2021. As per the revised brochure of NATA 2021, candidates who have already given both the tests of NATA 2021 are not eligible to apply for the third test of NATA 2021. Candidates who have only attempted either of the two tests of NATA 2021 can attempt the third test of NATA 2021. 

The third test will be conducted in two sessions. The second session will be conducted only if it is necessary as per the number of appearing students. The exam of the first session will be held from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm whereas the exam of the second session will be held from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm.

The application forms of NATA 2021 third test have been released. To apply for the third test of NATA 2021, candidates have to visit the official website nata.in. After that, they have to click on the “NATA 2021 Registration” tab which is present on the right side of the homepage. Upon clicking this tab, candidates will go to the next page where they have to click on the “Sign Up” tab. For signing up, candidates have to enter the details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, aadhar card, password, security question, security answer and security code. After signing up, candidates can login to their profile to fill the 3rd test application form. The application fee for the 3rd test is similar to that of 1st and 2nd test of NATA 2021. For general category candidates, the fee is Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1500 for SC, ST, Transsexual and PWD category candidates.

NATA 2021 third test will be conducted in online mode and the medium of instructions of the test will be in English language. The test will consist of 125 questions of different types such as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Preferential Choice Questions  (PCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), Numerical Answer Questions (NAQ), and Match the Following Question (MFQ). Out of 125 questions, some questions will carry 1 mark, 2 marks and 3 marks. The total marks of the exam is 200 and the time given to attempt the exam is 3 hours. Upon qualifying for the exam, candidates can get admission to B.Arch courses.
