National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has reportedly released a recruitment notification in a newspaper for the post of Development Assistant and Hindi Development Assistant. However, a detailed official notification is yet to released at nabard.org.
A total of 91 vacancies have been announced out of which 82 are for development assistant and 9 are for hindi development assistant. The online registrations will begin from September 14, 2019 (that is 5 days from today). The interested ones can then apply until October 02, 2019.
Candidates applying for the post of Development Assistant, are required to pass graduation with alteast 60 % marks. Whereas, candidates applying for Hindi development assistant, must possess graduation in Hindi or English with 50 % marks.
Bank has set 18 years as the minimum age limit and 35 years as the maximum age limit said by the notification. Another requirement is that a candidate should be able to write and speak English / Hindi fluently and possess knowledge of computer operation.
The selection process will involve two phases viz. preliminary and main exam. Both the exams will be held online in a computerized mode.
Last year, the prelims for this recruitment was held in September 29 and mains was held on October 21. The prelims was held out of a total of 100 marks. It contained three sections – english / hindi, numerical ability and reasoning. The respective marks for each of these sections were 40, 30 and 30. Whereas, the mains carried a total of 200 marks which comprised questions from reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, computer knowledge and english (descriptive type) / hindi. The respective marks were 30, 30, 50, 40 and 50.
During the exam, candidates have to carry a valid identity proof of their (pan card / aadhaar card / driving license / voter’s card / bank passbook with photograph / identity card issued by a recognized college / employee id / bar council identity card) for verification purposes. These have to be carried in original and as well as in a self attested photocopy.
A candidate has to qualify in each part of the test separately. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers in which 1/4th of the marks will be deducted. The final selection will be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Mains exam in the order of merit. The selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs 32,000 per month.
