National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development, popularly known as NABARD has released a recruitment notification for the post of development assistant 2018. NABARD, an institution that boosts the rural economy by extending attractive credit schemes, every year receives the maximum number of applications for the post of development assistant. NABARD looks for an ideal candidate who would fit into this position and assist them in their various administration work.
On August 27, 2018, it has released a notification for this post over its official website i.e www.nabard.org. The advertisement, along with the important dates and various test venues for the preliminary exams have also been released. The basic pay scale of a NABARD Development Assistant Rs. 14,650/- per month. This pay includes two advance increments in the scale of Rs. 13150 -750 -15400 – 900 -19000 -1200-26200 -1300-28800-1480-33240 -1750 -34990 (20 years) along with some other allowances which approximately amounts to Rs.31,000/-.
Before applying for this post, a candidate must ensure whether he or she is eligible to apply for this post or not. A candidate between the age group of 18 – 35 years will be eligible for this post. Also, NABARD provides relaxation in age to the people belonging to different categories. The candidate should have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in average (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD candidates). Also, should have passed both the phases of examination, along with that should have necessarily undertaken the pre-recruitment training under NABARD.

Candidates can start the procedure by clicking on the “Registration link for the new applicants”. Enter your name, contact detail, and email-id to generate your temporary login credentials. Fill all the mandatory fields and keep on saving them and clicking on the next button. Finally, after filling all the details, click “Submit” to proceed with other steps. On the next tab, you will be asked to upload some of the documents, along with your photograph, thumb impression, handwritten declaration and signature of the specified measurement. After uploading the documents, you will be redirected to the payment tab.
Pay the application fee as specified and save a copy of the confirmation received for future reference. The payment can be made by using any of the following payment gateways – Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. No other mode of payment is acceptable by the NABARD authorities.
The application fee for UR category candidates is 450 INR (including 50 INR as intimation charges), whereas for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS category candidates, application form will be made available to them for 50 INR only, that too including the intimation charges only.
