Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) has published schedule of document verification for nurses recruitment. MRB is organizing document verification on September 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 2018. There are two sessions on each day. First session is from 10 AM to 1 PM. Second session is from 2 PM to 5 PM.
On September 17, 2018, candidates from 1-80 (serial number as per MRB notification 2018 for nurses) should appear in session 1, and 81-160 should appear in session 2. Candidates from 161-240 should appear in first session on September 18, 2018, and 241-320 in second session on same day. Then on September 19, 2018, first session is for 321-400, and second session is for 401-480. Candidates 481-560 should appear in session 1 on September 20, 2018, and 561-640 in session 2. On September 24, 2018, candidates 641-720 should come in first session and 721-800 in second. Last date for document verification is September 25, 2018, when candidates 801-880 should come in first session and 881-950 in second.

Candidates are instructed to carry original along with one set of self attested photo copy of documents. Documents to bring include evidence of date of birth, evidence of educational qualification, evidence of tamil qualification, community certificate from the competent authority, tamil nadu nurses & midwives council permanent registration certificate, certificate of character and conduct issued by group a or group b officer on or after issue of the current notification, certificate of character and conduct issued by the head of the institution in which he / she last studied, differently abled certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable), no objection certificate from the appointing authority concerned (if applicable), an undertaking and declaration to be submitted as in para 14 (blank forms will be available at the verification centre), 2 passport size colour photograph, any one of the photo identity card issued by a government authority, discharge certificate or ppo no in respect of ex-service woman, sign on printed copy of on-line application that will be provided to candidate at venue.
Evidence of date of birth can be birth certificate, SSLC, HSC certificates. Educational qualification evidence are SSLC, HSC, Diploma/ Degree in Nursing or Provisional certificate. Diploma / Degree should be from a Government or Government approved Institution.
Tamil qualification evidence include SSLC / HSC /Certificate for having passed the second class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
Released notification contains a specimen copy of conduct and character certificate (to be issued by a group a or group b officer) in annexure 9. It also has format for character conduct certificate.
Notification contains list of candidates who have been called for certificate verification for post of nurse. There are 950 names with MRB number, application number, exam number.
At end of notification, cut off marks are also given. Cut off for GT, BC, MBC, SC candidates is 51 marks out of 100. It is 40.5 for BCM, 42 for SCA, and 36.5 for ST.
This notification for Advt 01/2015 which was for 7243 vacancies of nurses. Exam was held on June 28, 2015. Marks scored by candidates was published in same year.
MRB (Medical Services Recruitment Board) was established by Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu. Candidates who get recruitment through MRB get selected for posts under Tamil Nadu Medical Service, Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service, Tamil Nadu Public Health Service, Tamil Nadu public Health Subordinate Service.
