The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) State Service Exam (SSE) Prelims application portal closes today. Interested candidates, who qualify the eligibility criteria can apply online at mppsc.mp.gov.in. The Prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 24, 2022. The application fee for General category candidates is Rs. 500, while the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates have to pay Rs. 250 as application fee. This year, the MPPSC SSE exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for a total of 283 vacancies.
Who all can apply for MPPSC SSE?
- Candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree or are awaiting their final year result.
- Candidates should be a minimum of 21 years old.
- The maximum age for uniformed posts is 33 years and for non-uniformed posts, 40 years.
- Upper age limit relaxation of 5 years for female candidates/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates.
Steps to apply for MPPSC SSE Prelims
Step 1: Open the website mppsc.mp.gov.in.
Step 2: Scroll down and click on ‘Apply Online’ tab on the right side.
Step 3: Click on the link corresponding the ‘Recruitment Advertisement For State Engineering Service Examination 2021 Dated 30/12/2021’.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Action’ link corresponding to the ‘Application Form’ under SSE 2021/ SFS 2021.
Step 5: Read the instructions, check the declaration and click on ‘I accept’.
Step 6: Now fill the important details and upload the mandatory documents.
Step 7: Proceed to the payment process. The application is now complete.

MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern
There are 2 papers in the Prelims exam, each having a weightage of 200 marks. The duration for each paper in the SSE exam is 2 hours. Paper 1 questions are asked from General Studies and Paper 2 comprises questions from General aptitude. There are a total of 100 questions in each Paper, and there is a weightage of 2 mark per question. There is no negative marking within the Prelims exam. Candidates can attempt the Prelims exam either in Hindi or English.
MPPSC SSE 2021
There are 3 stages in the SSE recruitment- Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who qualify the Prelims exam, will have to appear for the Mains exam. The Mains exam has a total of 6 papers and 1500 maximum marks. Selected candidates will be called up for Interview, which has a total of 175 marks. The recruitment for 283 vacancies will be done based on the merit list.
