MP Police Notification 2019

An MP Police Notification 2019 has gone viral on social media since yesterday. It is a 58 pages long notification. However, the notification appears fake and it is not yet available on the official website of Professional Examination Board at peb.mp.gov.in or at mponline.gov.in.

As per the viral notification, Madhya Pradesh police bharti will begin for 14,088 vacancies of constable, head constable, and assistant sub inspector (ASI). Online application form will release on October 25, 2019. Last date to apply online will be November 24, 2019. Moreover, it says that the fee for unreserved category candidates for single paper will be Rs 500, and Rs 700 for two papers. For reserved category, the fee is Rs 250 for one paper and Rs 350 for two. The notification pdf has been shared multiple times on social media until now.

Is the notification real or fake? And what is the proof? Are the questions that arise next. The answer to that is the notification appears fake.

The notification appears fake. It is an edited version of a two year old notification. All the details in the MP police recruitment 2019 notification, except the dates are the same as the details in the MP Police recruitment notification of the year 2017. For this reason

In the year 2017, Vyapam had published a notification the recruitment to MP Police to fill 14,088 vacancies of constable, head constable, and ASI. Although the PCRT rulebook is no longer available at vyapam.nic.in, it is easy to download it using web archive service websites such as archive.org. The 2017 notification was available at the link vyapam.nic.in/Rulebooks/RB_2017/PCRT_RULEBOOK_2017.pdf, for anyone who wants to cross-check.

Every piece of information in the notification that is viral now, is an exact copy of the old notification.

For example, the vacancy distribution. In the old as well as the new (viral) notification, there are 12,828 vacancies of GD constable, 702 vacancies of driver constable, 136 for driver cook. Then there are 34 vacancies of barber constable, 39 washerman constable, 15 cobbler constable, 97 water carrier constable. And there are 44 vacancies of sweeper constable, 11 constable mason, 11 constable bugler, 14 constable tent khalasi. Other than that there are 123 vacancies of head constable computer, and 34 assistant sub inspector computer.

Another instance is the exam pattern or syllabus. In both documents, the exam will contain 40 marks on general knowledge and logical ability, 30 on mental ability, and 30 on science and mathematics.

Even if the syllabus remains the same, the vacancy distribution cannot be an exact copy two years apart. Thus as per the preliminary investigation, the MP Police bharti 2019 notification that went viral yesterday and today, appears fake.

Candidates are thus advised to look into the same as per their judgement. If any such notification appears on official websites like peb.mp.gov.in or mponline.gov.in, only then they can be considered true.
