Indian Army is soon, going to release the official notification for the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2022 examination. As confirmed by an official from the Military Nursing Service (MNS), the notification is supposed to release in March 2022. However, with barely 3 days left for this month to end, candidates are wondering whether or not the notification will release, as predicted. Once released, candidates shall get clarity about the application dates, exam date, reservation, and exam scheme.
Indian Army B.Sc Nursing – Selection Process
In order to join MNS and pursue the B.Sc Nursing course, candidates have to go through an elaborate selection process comprising of two stages – 1. Computer-based objective-type examination, and 2. Interview and Medical Examination. The first phase will be held through the computer-based format, at selected centres across the country. Candidates have to score equal to or more than their category cut-off to qualify for the next round.
The interview round will also hold considerable weightage in the final section process. Those who are deemed medically fit by the Selection Medical Board (SMB) will be taken into consideration for final evaluation. It is important to note that the final score will be decided by a candidate’s performance in the written exam and interview round.
Indian Army B.Sc Nursing – Paper Pattern
As per the previous exam pattern, the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing examination will be held through the online mode, for a maximum of 150 marks. Aspirants will have a total of 90 minutes to attempt and complete the entire paper. The question paper will be divided into three sections – 1. General English, 2. General Intelligence and 3. Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
Each subject section shall cover 50 questions for a maximum of 50 marks. To the delight of candidates, there will be no negative marking. So, 0 marks will be allotted for both unanswered and wrongly-answered questions.
There may be a possibility of the Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing exam are being conducted in multiple shifts. If this happens, a normalization process will be adopted to curate the merit list.
Indian Army B.sc. Nursing – Eligibility Criteria
As per last year’s notification, the following are the eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill –
# Female candidates who are unmarried, divorced, legally separated without any attachments.
# Must be a citizen of India.
# Must be born between a certain age bracket (in 2021, the date of birth was between October 01, 1996, to September 30, 2024).
# Must have passed Class 12 board or any equivalent exam with 50% aggregate marks as a regular student.
# Those who are have given or about to give their Class 12 board exams this year are also eligible.
# The subject combination must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology and Botany) and English.
Indian Army B.Sc Nursing – Reservation & Fee
As implemented in the previous session of Indian Army B.sc Nursing Exam, a total of 15 seats shall be reserved for SC and ST categories. Similarly, 25 seats will be reserved for NCC candidates possessing the ‘C’ certificate.
Additionally, while applying for the B.Sc Nursing entrance exam, all candidates have to pay a certain amount as application fee. last year, the figure was INR 750 and the same figure is expected to follow this year.
