Indian Army offers 4 years Military Nursing Service 2020, the B.Sc Nursing course to female candidates after clearing their 12th class exams. At the end of the course, candidates are offered permanent or short service commission under the terms prescribed for the offered commission.
MNS 2020 registration shall open at joinindianarmy.nic.in on November 14, 2019. And it will remain available until December 2, 2019. The entrance exam referred to as online computer based exam (OCBE) will be held in April 2020. Thereafter there will be interview in May 2020.
Such female candidates who are citizens of India, are unmarried, or divorcee, or legally separate, or widows without encumbrances are eligible. Education wise it is required that one has passed class 12th in first attempt, with physics, chemistry, biology, english with not less than 50%. Class 12 appearing candidates are also eligible.
The minimum height of a candidate should be 152 cms, albeit 148 cms shall be the requirement from Gorkha candidates and those belonging to north eastern region of India, Garhwal, Kumaon.
Fee for online application form for Indian Army B.Sc nursing 2020 is Rs 750.
In order to apply, candidates will have to register using email ID and chose a new password. Username thus generated, and password chosen should be remembered for later use. Candidates will have to fill all details in the online form, pay fee, and submit the form by deadline; fee payment shall close at 5 pm on the last date to apply.
Indian Army shall issue MNS 2020 admit card to registered candidates in the third week of March 2020.
The Indian Army B.Sc nursing entrance exam will be of 90 minutes duration. It will have questions on general english, biology, physics, chemistry, general intelligence. Final selection shall be on the combined merit of exam and interview, subject to fulfillment of eligibility.
Seats are offered at six different colleges of nursing. There are 40 seats in CON AFMC Oune, 30 in CON CH EC Kolkata, 40 in CON INHS Asvini. Then there are 30 seats in CON AH R&R New Delhi, 40 in CON CH CC Lucknow, and 40 in CON CH AF Bangalore.
After passing the final year in B.Sc Nursing university exams, candidates get offer of commission in the Military Nursing Service. The date of declaration of result from the universities shall be the commission date for the candidates. The commission date determines the date of seniority in service among all canidates who have joined the course in the same year.
Result will be announced tentatively for AFMC Pune, Asvini in August, for Kolkata in September or October. For New Delhi, result will be out in July or August, and November or December for Lucknow college. In January or February of the subsequent year of exam, result will be announced for Bangalore.
Per the notification, ” They shall have to refund the Bond money as per the Bond executed in the event of withdrawal from the Course, termination of training or refusal to accept Commission in the MNS, if offered. During training they will be provided with free ration, accommodation, uniform allowance and monthly stipend as per terms and conditions as amended from time to time. “
