MICAT II 2019 Registration Started; Know Steps to Apply Here

MICAT II 2019 Registration Started

The Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA), Ahmedabad has recently started the Registration Process for MICAT II 2019. The aspirants who wish to appear for the MICA Admission Test (MICAT II) must register for the entrance examination in only online mode over mica.ac.in. No offline application form for MICAT II is available for the candidates. 

It was said that MICA will be inviting the MICAT II online applications January 3, 2019, onward. But seems like they released it pretty early i.e on December 20, 2018. The last date for applying has been fixed on January 30, 2019. Eligible candidates can start applying PGDM- C for 2019-2020 session.

Candidates who have a 3 year Bachelor’s degree will be eligible for admission to MICA, along with those candidates who are yet to appear for their final exams. Such candidates must even possess a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT exam scorecard. Simultaneously, note that the application process is going on for CCC and FPM- C admission in MICA. The last date to register is for these courses are 10 and 28 February 2019 respectively.

For MICAT II, a candidate will be required to pay Rs. 1985 as examination fee, which is applicable to all the candidates. A candidate will be first required to complete the MICAT II registration by filling name, contact number, email address and captcha code. After a “successful registration” message pops up, a candidate needs to check their email IDs to find the newly generated credentials.

With the help of the Username and password generated, a candidate will be further required to complete the 4 sections – General Information, Qualification Details, entrance exam scores, and fee payment. Candidates can pay off the application fee by using the Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking as a payment gateway. Then, preview your MICAT II applications and submit before the last date. Make sure, the details provided in MICAT II applications are correct, as MICAT II admit card, which will release on February 4, 2019 will have the same details printed on it. 

MICA Admission Test is conducted twice a year in online mode for PGDM-C programme. This national level entrance test is conducted across 48 cities. MICAT I was held on December 01, 2018, whereas MICAT II will be held on February 9, 2019. Candidates will be required to attempt sections like Descriptive test, Psychometric test, Analytical and Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Divergent Thinking in a duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Except for subjective type questions and the Psychometric test questions, all other sections have negative marking. To prepare for MICAT II, a candidate can practice the sample papers, available over the official website.
