MHT CET 2019 Registration Starts At New Year Midnight; Know Fee And How to Apply

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of the Maharashtra Government has started the count down for the MHT CET 2019 Registrations. As per the latest update on the MHT CET 2019 website, mahacet.org, the MHT CET 2019 Registration will start around the midnight of December 31, 2019.

The MHT CET 2019 Application Form will be available only after the successful registration of the candidates. Ti register candidates have to access the official website and find the link to register themselves online. After the registration is complete the candidates will get their application number and password. Using these details they have to login and fill up the application form.

In addition to filling up the details, candidates will also have to upload the scanned images of their passport-sized photograph and signature. Once these processes are complete, the candidates have to make the application fee payment online.

The application fee for MHT CET last year was Rs. 800 for the General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates. Whereas for the Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only, the application fee was Rs. 600/-.

Earlier the State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced the MHT CET Exam dates. As per the announcement, the MHT CET 2019 Exam is scheduled to be held from May 02 -13, 2019.

This is the first time ever that MHT CET is being conducted in the online mode. Until last year the exam was being conducted in the offline mode only. The exam pattern remains the same, just the mode of the examination has been changed.

The syllabus also is static like the previous year. The MHT CET 2019 Exam Pattern is that the exam will consists of 2 papers – Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics and Chemistry). There will be 50 questions from each subject. Each correct answer will fetch 2 marks to the candidates and each wrong answer will deduct 1 marks.

Last year admission via MHT CET was made against a total of 1,30,356 seats. The number of seats for 2019 session will be made available along with the information brochure.
