Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA IB) shall close the online form for Security Assistant / Executive examination 2018 today, on 10 Nov 2018 at 11:59 PM. Candidates who submit form by this deadline shall however be able to pay fee until closing hours of bank on 13 Nov 2018. The online form can be filled only at recruitmentonline.in/mha13 or ncs.gov.in.
In order to apply online, candidate needs to go to recruitmentonline.in/mha13 or ncs.gov.in and do registration, enter details in application form, upload photograph and signature. Candidates can pay requisite fee amount to the tune of Rs 50 in either offline or online modes. Those who opt to pay fee offline can do so one day after filling the form. However please note that fee is exempt for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female candidates. Only General and OBC male candidates need to pay the fee.
The notification was published, and on the same day IB Security Assistant 2018 online form was issued on 20 Oct 2018. The online form is divided into two parts – I and II. Part I pertains to application form filling like entering personal, academic details and other information. Part II is about paying fee.
Candidates need to upload photograph and signature in a single file with size no more than 50 kb. Signature should be legible. Photograph should not be blurry. Detailed instructions about the same are also given in FAQs on MHA IB recruitment website. It is strongly advisable to candidates to check preview of application form before submitting it.
Those who apply today can deposit fee offline in any branch of SBI India on 12 Nov 2018 and 13 Nov 2018. Verification of fees shall be available on the website on T+2 basis. Candidates must note that the form is closing at 11:59 PM tonight.
Applicants will be issued MHA IB Security Assistant / Executive exam 2018 admit card via mha.gov.in. Candidates will have to login with date of birth, name, mobile number in order to download the same.
MHA IB Security Assistant / Executive Recruitment 2018 shall be done on basis of Tier I, II, III. Tier I is a written exam of 100 marks. Tier II is a descriptive type test with 40 marks for translation, and 10 marks for spoken ability to be assessed in tier III. And Tier III will be interview / personality test of 50 marks.
In Tier I, candidates must obtain qualifying marks set as 35 for UR, 34 for OBC, 33 for SC/ST in order to qualify for Tier II. However the bureau may select only candidates upto 10 times the number of vacancies for forthcoming rounds.
All candidates who appear in Tier II will also be able to appear in Tier III. There will be a cut off in Tier II also, but none in Tier III.
MHA IB Security Assistant / Executive Recruitment 2018 is for 1054 vacancies. The number of vacancies for unreserved candidates is 620 , it is 187 for OBC, 160 for SC, and 87 for ST. The selected candidates will come under the classification of General Central Service (Group C) non-gazetted non ministerial post. Their pay scale will be Rs 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs 2000 PB1 plus admissible central government allowances.
