State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has released the application form for MH Law CET 2019 – 3 year LLB programme. A notice regarding the availability of the 3-year application form had also been released yesterday. The link to apply for the 3 year LLB programme is active on the official website. Students who want to fill the MH Law CET 2019 application form must know the eligibility criteria as well as the Maharashtra State candidature set by the state common entrance test cell, Maharashtra.
Who all Are Eligible to Apply?
Indian nationals who have completed the 10+2+3 from a recognized educational institution, having at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination can apply. Only the SC/ST category candidates of Maharashtra state need to have at least 40% marks to apply. To apply for MH Law CET 2019 – 5 years LLB programme, students need to have completed 10+2 with at least 55% marks. SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra state only having 50% marks in the qualifying examination can also apply.

On the next screen, students will be able to check the important dates table; that’s from where they can click on “New Registration” to proceed. Students are required to enter Name, Email ID and password to fill the application form. Students will be sent an Email and SMS containing the provisional registration number and password.
Students can use these details to fill the application form. The MH Law CET 2019 application form (3 year LLB) requires the candidates to provide basic details, education qualification details personal, and details in the application form. Lastly, the candidates have to pay the application fee which is Rs 800 for General Category candidates and Rs 400/- for reserved category candidates.
Maharashtra State Candidature
The Maharashtra state candidature divides the candidates into 5 categories – Type A, B, C, D and E. On the basis of the different eligibility criteria and background, students are informed about the candidature that has to be applied for by them. There are 5 types of candidates who are eligible for the Maharashtra State Candidature. Type A – Those candidates who were born in Maharashtra. Type B – Anyone of the Father or the Mother is domiciled in the state of Maharashtra. Type C – Father or the Mother of the candidate is a Government employee posted in Mumbai before the last date to apply for MH law CET 2019 (March 15, 2019 – 3 year LLB, March 11, 2019, for 5 year LLB). Type D – Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra. Type E – Candidates who have finished their SSC/HSC from a recognized institution on disputed Maharashtra Karnataka border area and is able to speak Marathi.
