Maharashi Dayanand University (Rohtak) has released a revised special chance notification for candidates who could not pass their UG/PG course as per admissible chances provided by the University. As per the MDU revised special chance notification 2021, candidates who have enrolled in UG/PG programs in the MDU Rohtak University since 2005 and have exhausted all their admissible chances to pass their degree program till the last exam held in July/August 2021 can avail this special chance.
The University has invited online applications from all such concerned candidates through the university portal. The application form is available from August 24, 2021, and the last date to apply is September 13, 2021. All candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be given this special chance to appear in an examination and pass their degree program. It may be noted that those candidates, who have not exhausted their admissible number of chances to pass their degree course are not eligible for this special chance examination. The special chance can also be availed by the candidates of PG programs for the improvement of their marks from less than 55% to 55% and above. Candidates may also note that improvement is not permissible for the B.Ed course.
The University has also released instructions for the special chance examination, which will be held tentatively in September/October 2021 on the premises of the University campus only. Candidates may note that the examination will be conducted in the offline mode only and any candidate, who cannot appear in the exam due to COVID-19 infection will be provided with another chance to take the test on a suitable revised date. However, in order to avail this, the concerned candidate has to provide relevant RT-PCR Test reports, well before the conduct of the examination on a revised date. However, the University will not conduct any online examination for the special chance under any circumstances.
MDU Rohtak University has specified the course-wise fee details for appearing in the special chance examination. The minimum fee amount is Rs 10000 for the first time special chance (per sem/year) for BA/B.Sc/B.Com/MA/M.Sc/M.Com, Pre-PhD/M.Phil/Ph.D, and OTMIL/Shashtri courses. It is recommended that candidates ensure that they comply with the eligibility norms before proceeding to apply online for the MDU Special Chance 2021 examination. As per the official notification, candidates must resolve any confusion from the Result Branch. In case an ineligible candidate submits an application online, the application fee will not be refunded.
