Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the refund process for NEET UG Counselling 2018 soon. As per the official notification, the process will be completed by October 15, 2018. All the eligible candidates will receive the refund in the same account via which counselling registration was done. The process for refund of the fee has been delayed due to the extension of BDS counselling schedule until September 15, 2018.

Refund is available to those candidates who do not want a seat after the second round of counselling. In such case, a student must report at the allotted college and inform the authorities that he/she does not want a admission in the college.
Candidates will get a refundable amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- that was submitted during the registration process. Though the Registration fee of Rs. 5000/- which was same for all candidates is non-refundable. For 15% All India Quota/ Central Universities (DU, BHU, AMU, and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi)/AFMS & ESI, the refundable security amount is Rs.10,000/- for UR candidates and Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH.
All the candidates will get the refund amount soon. It will be credited to the college in which students were allotted a seat. Thereafter institute will transfer the same amount to the account that was used to pay the counselling fee.

The NEET 2018 Counselling was started on June 13, 2018, and concluded in the second week of September 2018. The counselling took for around 65000 MBBS seats and 25000 BDS seats. The seats were allotted according to the order merit. There were 15% All India Quota Seats and 85% State Quota Seats. The counselling was completely online and wrapped up after two rounds.
After this session, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 will take place on May 05, 2019. Registration for which will start from November 01, 2018, and will continue for 30 days. From next year National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the examination all over India.
The exam is pen and paper-based test comprising of Multiple Choice Questions from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. For the better preparation, aspirants could able to take mocks at Test Practice Centre. The agency would also start the service to provide free coaching to the students.
