State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State has extended the MAH MBA/ MMS 2019 Registration date to February 18, 2019. Candidates who want to pursue a management course from the state of Maharashtra must apply online at cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the exam schedule, the CET cell was supposed to close the registration today on 15 Feb but now it has been extended by three days. Students who have filled the form but not submitted yet must do it as soon as possible before the last date.
The application fees for MBA/MMS CET 2019 is Rs 800/- and Rs 1000/- for reserved and unreserved category respectively. Candidates from Maharashtra or outside Maharashtra can apply for MAHA CET 2019. Importantly, candidates must have atleast 50% in graduation in order to apply for the exam. Even candidates with 49.5% can apply for CET 2019. For the reserved category, there is a relaxation of 5% ie a minimum of 45% marks are required,
In the application form, it is important to submit the important documents like photograph, signature, reservation documents etc. Candidates who want to avail reservation benefits must submit Caste Validity, Tribe Validity, or Non-Creamy Layer certificate. For MBA CET 2019, Reservation is open for SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC, SBC, and SEBC categories.
Post submission, there is no window to edit the application form. Candidates must make sure that they provide correct details in the form to avoid any inconvenience later. Why to apply for MBA CET 2019?
Applying for MBA CET 2019 has its own perks. First, candidstes who could not score well in other national level exams can appear for this exam for admission to top colleges like JBIMS. Second, the examination fee is very less as compared to other management exams. Third, there is no negative marking in the exam. Last but not least is the admission process, it consists of counseling or Central Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra.

Once the admission process for MBA CET 2019 closes, the exam conducting body will release the admit card form March 01, 2019 onwards. The hall tickets will release on scheduled dates for the exam to be conducted on March 09 & 10, 2019. The exam date will be allotted to registered candidates randomly. No communication regarding the change of exam dates will be entertained by CET cell.
On the exam day, it is important to carry the admit card and photo identity proof. Moreover, candidates need to keep the admit card safe until the completion of the admission process. Importantly, candidates who do not wish to apply via CET can participate directly in the CAP using CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT scores.
