MBA CET 2019 Registration Started at mahacet.org; Apply Until 15 Feb

Maharashtra MBA CET 2019 Registration Started

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State has started the registration for MBA/ MMS CET 2019. Candidates who are interested in pursuing management programme from the Indian state of Maharashtra can fill the MAH CET application form. The exam form has been available at mahacet.org until February 15, 2019.

MBA CET 2019 Notification

Aspirants from Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra are eligible to apply for the exam. Apart from these candidates must have a bachelor degree with minimum 50% aggregate. There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks for the reserved category. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

With the availability of the registration form, DTE Maharashtra has also released the information brochure on the official website. The major change in there is the addition of SEBC category for the reservation. As per the Government of Maharashtra, Maratha Community is Socially and Educationally backward. So this year, the special provision will be given to this category along with SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC.

The application fee for the examination is different for reserved and unreserved category. It is Rs 1000/- and Rs 800/- respectively. Only candidates who will pay the exam fee will get the admit card. The MBA CET 2019 hall ticket is scheduled to release from March 01, 2019, onwards.

MBA CET 2019 Highlights

In order to take admission to b-schools in Maharashtra, candidates can either appear for MBA CET 2019 or participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) via CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ATMA scores. The registration for the CAP will start later in the month of April/ May 2019. For now, students can apply for MBA CET 2019 to get admission to the top colleges of Maharashtra like JBIMS, PUMBA, SIMSREE etc.

The application for the MBA CET 2019 is a five step process. It includes registration, uploading of the documents, entering basic details, payment of fees, and print out of the form. After registering with the valid email-id ad mobile number, candidates must note the provisional registration number and password. Following that students can either continue with the next step or login later to complete the form.

Candidates can fill the MBA CET 2019 Application Form in multiple session before the last date. Though the steps in the process need to be completed sequentially. The registration, payment of exam fee, and editing in the form must be done by February 15, 2019. Post submission of the form, candidates will not be allowed to make changes in the form. The print out of the form can be taken until March 02, 2019.

This year, CET exam is scheduled to take place on March 09 & 10, 2019. Candidates can prepare for the exam according to the syllabus issued by the exam conducting body. The exam will have 200 questions of 1 mark each. There is no negative marking in the exam. As there are almost 2 months left for the exam, candidates can boost the exam score with proper planning and studies. Students who are not satisfied with CAT, XAT etc exams performance must appear for MBA CET.
