All India Management Association (AIMA) has extended the registration dates for the MAT December session examination. With the recent changes, the last date to apply for the Paper-based test and the computer-based test is December 04 and December 10, 2018, respectively. Candidates can register for either of the exams according to their choice. Interested applicants can also apply for both the modes and can use the best of two scores for the admission in the academic year 2019-21.
In order to apply for MAT 2018 December session, access the official website of AIMA. In the available registration link, register with valid email id and password. In case, a student is already registered, then fill the application form entering the personal, academic, test city preference, exam mode details. In the final step, pay the application fee which is RS 1550/- for PBT/ CBT and Rs 2650/- for PBT and CBT. The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card or net banking mode.
Though students will able to edit certain details in the form after the final submission of the MAT application form. Still, it is advisable that candidates submit the form after checking all the details carefully. The MAT takes four times a year, so candidates who want to take admission in the academic year 2019-21 can register for February or May session also. The registration for the February session will start from December 08, 2018.
MAT December admit Card
AIMA releases the admit card for the examination in multiple sessions according to the last date of registration. Until now the hall ticket is available for the candidates who have registered for the PBT exam until December 01, 2018 upto 12 Noon. As the registration date is extended, the admit card for the rest of the students will release on December 05, 2018, 04:00 PM onwards.
Similarly, the hall tickets for the candidates who have registered for the computer-based test will be released on December 11, 2018. The admit card is downloadable until the exam day only. So, after downloading it using the registration number and date of birth, candidates must keep the copy of it for the future use.
MAT December REsult
Once the exam is over for both the modes, AIMA will release the result for all the candidates altogether. It will release on the official website and can be accessed using the registration details. The score of this session will be valid for one year and are acceptable by more than 600 colleges. In case, candidates want to improve their score then they can register for the next session also.
MAT Preparation
The exam pattern for MAT is similar to CAT/ IIFT. Candidates must be aware of current affairs to attempt the Indian and Global Environment section in the exam. For the rest solve mocks in order to gain a better understanding of the exam. Revise formulas, vocabulary, grammar rules etc. Importantly, make a proper study plan to prepare for the exam efficiently.
