All India Management Association has released the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 Exam Dates for May session. AIMA has recently updated the exam dates for the May exam on the official website at aima.in. The schedule from the last date of registration to the release of result is available but the registration date for MAT 2019 is still not notified. It is expected that the application forms will be available by the end of the second week of March 2019.
Currently, on the official website, the exam conducting body has mentioned the MAT May 2019 website “https://mat.aima.in/may19” but the link is not active right now. The link is not accessible and showing “401 Authorization Error”. Once AIMA activates the May website candidates will able to register for the exam.
Also, candidates must not confuse themselves with the “B-school Registration for May 2019 MAT” link with the candidates’ registration. The b-school registration is for the management institute who are accepting MAT May scores for admission to the academic year 2019-21.
Previously, as per the MAT 2019 February 2019 brochure, MAT May registration was supposed to start from March 01, 2019, but it has been delayed and no updated date is available. Though, the last date to apply for MAT is notified by the AIMA. For paper-based test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT), the last date to submit the form online is 26 April and 10 May respectively.
The registration will be over 5-10 days before the exam date. For PBT the exam date is May 05, 2019, and for PBT the test date is May 18, 2019. It is highly probable that the dates will be revised again to give students sufficient time for the registration. Even more, the PBT may also conduct in two phases similar to previous year sessions.
Candidates who are interested in MAT May session have to complete the four-step application process. First, complete the registration after entering a valid mobile number, email id etc. Next, complete the MAT May 2019 application form by providing details related to education, contact, test centre preference etc. In the third step, upload the photograph and signature as per the guidelines. In the last step, pay the application fee and submit the form.
The examination fees vary as per the test mode selected by a student. Candidates can either appear for the PBT/ CBT or both. The fee is Rs 1550/- for either of the modes and Rs 2650/- for the both of the modes of the exam. Students who appear in PBT, as well as CBT, will get the chance to select 7 management institutes as compared to 5.
For the exam preparation, students must go through its exam pattern. There are 200 multiple choice questions in the exam of 1 mark each. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks. The paper is divided into five sections naming Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Indian & Global Environment, Language Comprehension, and Mathematical Skills.
