MAHATET 2019 Notification Out, Registration Started Today, Check Complete Details!

The application form filling window is open for 21 days. And a little over two months to go for the exam.

MAHATET 2019

Maharashtra State council of examination (MSCE) has released Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2019 notification and started with the registration today, on November 08, 2019. The application form has been released online on the official website mahatet.in and interested candidates are invited to apply online by the last date that is November 28, 2019. 

The steps to submit MAHATET 2019 online application form are as follows. First of all visit the official website mahatet.in ->> On the main page itself, on the left-hand side, candidates will see “New Registration” under the MAHATET-19 activities tab in yellow ->> Soon after clicking it, an instruction page gets generated, read them and check the checkbox to continue ->> Fill the registration form->> login to your portal ->> fill the detailed application form ->> Submit the required fee ->> Submit the application and take the printout of the same. 

There are two critical points to get information about the exam. One is the MAHATET 2019 notification, and the second is the instructions for application form. Former is available as PDF at mahatet.in. Latter appears when one clicks on new registration.

While filling the form candidates need to upload the scanned images of the colour photograph of size 4 KB to 200 KB. Also, upload the scanned image of the signature of size upto 2 to 50 KB. Both the images should either be in .png, .jpg, .jpeg format only.

The requisite application fee has to be paid against the filing of the MAHATET form 2019 in an online mode only as no other or offline mode is made available to the candidates. Pay using a credit card, debit card, internet banking and cash card. 

There are two papers in MAHATET for which a candidate can apply. One is Primary Level from class I to V and other is Upper Primary Level to teach classes VI to VIII. Candidates can even apply for both the papers if they are fulfiling eligibility criteria mentioned by the board.  

According to the official notice released the date for paper 1 is January 19, 2020, in the morning starting from 10:30 AM till 1:00 PM. Paper 2 is scheduled to be on the same date but starting from 2:00 PM till 4:30 PM. The admit card for the same will be available for download online on the website between January 04, 2020 to January 19, 2020. 

The date of result for the examination will be released by the board in due course of time. Then with the result candidates will know whether they have qualified or not, and qualified ones will be eligible to apply for teaching positions as advertised by different schools in the state from time to time. 

Maharashtra State Council of Examination conducts its Teacher Eligibility Test every year for the purpose of identifying candidates who are eligible to become teachers. The test is in two levels. One is for those who aspire to be teachers of primary classes from class I to V and other is for the post of the upper primary class teachers from class VI to VIII.
