Maharashtra Water Resources Department (WRD) has released notification for the recruitment to 500 vacancies in the post of Junior Civil Engineer Grade B. Government job seekers in Maharashtra, with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized board or institution can apply online for the vacancy at mahapariksha.gov.in.
Online application is available until August 15, 2019. Minimum age limit for the post is 18 years, and maximum is 38 years. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to the reserved category contestants as per the existing rules.
The selected candidates will be in the pay scale of Rs 38,600/- to 1,22,800.
To fill up the application form, a candidate have to visit the portal of Mahapariksha – mahapariksha.gov.in >> Click “Registration login For Water Resources Department Examination 2019” >> Click “Registration Login”. Check on the advertisement section for the WRD post.
Likewise, to check related details such as the notification, click on “Advertisement for Water Resources Department Examination 2019” on the mahapariksha.gov.in home page. From there, advertisement, how to fill application form, list of reference GRs can be downloaded.
Candidates need to provide three things to register, that are username, email ID, password. Then they will receive an one time registration link on their email id. Upon clicking that link, they can sign up for the registration process. After that, they will be have to submit details like – date of birth, parent’s name, husband name, caste category, address, educational qualification etc. Then, they have to scan and upload their passport size photograph image of size 3 kb to 50 kb. At last they need to submit the form along with a fee.
Application fee is Rs 500 for general category candidates, and Rs 300 for reserved category and PH candidates.
The candidates have to bring their original identification proof documents such as Pan card, passport, driving license, voter id, nationalized bank updated passbook, Aadhaar card on the day of their exam. The selection process of the candidates will be based on the written examination and interview.

The state of Maharashtra came into existence in the year 1960 after the bifurcation of old Bombay State into Maharashtra and Gujarat. From 26 October, 2004 the irrigation department came to be known as Water Resources Department.
