Maharashtra State Examination Council, Pune, conducted the MAHA TET 2017 on July 22, 2017, in 1817 centers. The examination was held to award eligibility to aspiring teacher. The Paper I of TET was for those candidates who planned to teach class 1 to 5 in future. Whereas, the candidates aiming to become a teacher for class 6 to 8 appeared for the Paper II. The entrants of both the Papers can now check their Maharashtra TET Result 2017. Conducting body has declared it on October 10, 2017, at 01:00 pm.

The result has only been announced online. The candidates can check it by accessing the login or simply clicking here. To do so, the candidates need to enter the Registration Number and Password. The entered Roll Number should be correct. The candidates may refer to the admit card or application confirmation page in order to confirm the credentials.

As per the reports, approximately 2.9 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. Out of these, roughly 7,889 candidates took Paper I and 6,263 appeared for the Paper II. MSCE has only declared those candidates qualified who scored above the cutoff. The pass percentage for the examination is 60% for the candidates belonging to General Category. However, for the candidates belonging to SC / VJ / ST / OBC / NT category, the percentage is 55%.

As per the reports, the pass percentage of the examination has also been announced. For Paper I, it is 4.27% and for Paper II it is 2.30%. According to a document uploaded by a Facebook user, the Pass Percentage for the TET Paper II 2016 was 5.69%. The dip in the percentage is surely huge.

Before announcing the result of the exam, the provisional and final answer key was released. The provisional key of the exam was issued on August 22, 2017. Candidates were invited to analyze and challenge it. The conducting body then evaluated all the objection and released a final answer key. The announced TET Result has been determined on the basis of the final answer key only.

Clearing the TET does not guarantee a job to the candidates. The only focus of the test it to certify worthy candidates eligible for the post of teacher. The candidates will get a job on the basis of their performance in the interview. Yet Maharashtra TET 2017 eligibility certificate will be a mandatory required for final selection.

The certificate of eligibility will be issued to the candidates in few month. It will only be dispatched to the qualified candidates. The validity of the certificate will be 7 years. Once the due period is over, the candidates have to renew their eligibility by qualifying the examination again.

Congratulations to all the qualified candidates. Do not be disheartened if you did not qualify the exam. Try again next time with better preparation and success will be yours. Good luck to all. Comment below and share your thoughts.
