MSBSHSE will declare class 10th supplementary result 2017 today, on August 29, 2017. The timing of the announcement of the result has also been disclosed by the Maharashtra State Board. The Maharashtra SSC Supplementary Result will be available on mahresult.nic.in, at 01:00 PM.
The supplementary exam was successfully held from 18th July 2017. Students who had appeared for the supplementary exam will also be able to check their result from the official website at mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. The result can only be checked online and the Board will not send it at the candidate’s residential address.
To check the result of Maharashtra SSC Supplementary exam, the candidates will have to visit the official website of the Maharashtra SSC and look for title class 10th supplementary result 2017. Upon clicking the link, the candidates will be lead to the result portal. There, the candidates will have to enter the required details such as Roll Number and Mother’s First Name. Once, the result has been displayed, take a print out of the same and use it for further reference.
It is to be noted by the candidates that the marks displayed online are for the immediate information only. The original marksheet will be issued by the MSBSHSE but the candidates will be able to avail it from the School, from where they have studied. The marks sheet of the candidates, who have cleared the supplementary examination will be issued new mark sheet. Their old mark sheet will be nullified.
In addition to that, the board will also provide the candidates their provisional passing certificate which will be required in future at every step. The provisional passing certificate is used for confirming the date of birth in many competitive examinations, for taking admission, etc. It is a very important document that must be kept carefully.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is an autonomous body which among numerous responsibilities also conducts Board examination in the state of Maharashtra. On annual basis, the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 lakhs for HSC and 17 Lakhs SSC. while for the supplementary examination, the number is a bit low. An estimate of around 6 Lakhs students appear for supplementary exam including HSC and SSC together.
The Maharashtra SSC announced the main board results on 13 June 2017. There were around 17,66,098 candidates who had appeared for the exam. 1650499 Registered, while 1644016 appeared for the exam and only around 1458855 passed the exam in all divisions including Amravati, Nasik. Latur, Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Aurangabad etc. To be specific about the stats, a number of male candidates were somewhere around 9,89,908 (rough figure) and the number of female candidates was 7,76,190. The overall pass percentage was 88.74. The pass percentage of girls was 91.46 while among boys it was 86.51.
There were candidates who did not make it through the exams. Meaning that they were not able to satisfy the minimum qualifying marks criteria in one or more subjects. There were around 7000 candidates who did not clear the main examination. The board provided another chance to such candidates and conducted the Supplementary exams so that these candidates could improve their marks in 10th class.
