Maharashtra SSC 10th Result; Konkan division with Highest pass percentage

Ending the anxiety and tension among the class 10th students, the Maharashtra Secondary Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the State Board Result. It has been released for the Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri regions.

The result of the students has been announced on www.mahresults.nic.in. The candidates may check it by visiting the website and entering the Roll Number and Mother’s Name, in the provided space.

Nearly 17 lakh candidates appeared for the Maharashtra SSC exam, in the month of March 2017. Out of the total, 14.58 lakh students have qualified the exam. Approximately 3.49 candidates have secured the first class with distinction, while the number of students securing only first class is 5.44 lakh.

The pass percentage of girls has gone as high as 91.46%. Not far behind in the race, the pass percentage of boys is 86.51%. Despite the impressive performance, when compared with the last year’s result, a dip of overall 0.82% can be analyzed.

Konkan division recorded the highest pass percentage of 96.18%. Whereas, the lowest pass percentage has been reported in Nagpur division and it is 83.67%. Mumbai and Pune, two of the most famous divisions, saw impressive pass percentage of 90.09% and 91.95%, respectively.
