Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released a recruitment notification for Junior Clerk posts. The online application process will commence from September 16, 2019 for 266 vacancies. Anyone with a graduate degree discipline can apply for the post until October 06, 2019. The application link will be activated on ‘mahapariksha.gov.in’.

Before applying for the post, candidates are advised to go through the notification. The first thing will be to ensure the eligibility criteria. Any graduate who is between an age group of 18 to 38 years are eligible to apply for Maharashtra HSC Board recruitment 2019. Other than that, candidates should have a certification in Marathi with 30 words per minute, and English with 40 words per minute.
To register, candidates have to access the website, mahapariksha.gov.in. Then scroll down to the advertisement section and click on “Advertisement for Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune Examinations 2019”. There will be an advertisement tab in green color. Tap on it and go through the details available in a pdf file regarding the recruitment and proceed to fill the form.
Along with the application form, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 550 by general category candidates and Rs 350 by reserved category candidates. The payment has to be done through credit card / debit card / BHIM UPI / internet banking.
Candidates will be selected on the performance of the online examination. The date of the exam is not yet finalized by the board. The paper will be of 200 marks, containing questions from English, Marathi, General Knowledge and Reasoning intelligence, each carrying 50 marks. The selected candidates on appointment will be entitled to a salary of Rs 19,900 to 63,200 per month.
Maharashtra State Board and Higher Secondary Board is an autonomous body under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The board conducts HSC and SSC examinations in its nine divisional boards located at Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Nasik, Aurangabad, Amravati, Latur, Ratnagiri and Kolhapur. There are about 21,000 SSC schools and 7000 HSC higher secondary schools or junior colleges in the entire state.
The board conducts examinations for school students studying in schools affiliated to the board. Around 14 lakh students appear for HSC exams, and 17 lakhs for SSC. For supplementary examination, around 6 lakhs of candidates appear for both HSC and SSC.
