The board has earlier released the schedule for the class 12th evaluation process on the official website. Additionally, the board has asked all the schools to submit the internal assessment marks of the students by July 24, 2021 for the result preparation.

The Maharashtra HSC exams have been deferred amidst the covid-19 surge in the state. However, later on, an evaluation criterion has been devised by the committee assigned by the board. According to the evaluation criteria, 30% weightage has been given to marks scored in the best three subjects in class 10th. The 30% marks have been assigned to marks scored in the aggregate marks scored in class 11th. While the remaining 40% marks have been assigned to the semester exams, unit tests, and practical exams of class 12th.
The board has also decided to pass all the HSC students this year. Those candidates who fail to score minimum marks and eventually could not pass will be assigned grace marks.
In an event of the dissatisfaction of candidates regarding the marks allotted to him. The board will conduct supplementary exams in which the candidates can participate so as to elevate their marks in the particular subject.
